PP filter element, also known as polypropylene filter element, is a common water purifier filter element made of polypropylene particles. These particles are melted, sprayed into fine fibers, and tightly wound to form a clean white tubular filter element,
which has the characteristics of being non-toxic and odorless, and the fibers do not fall off during filtration, while maintaining good breathability.
The filtration accuracy of PP filter cartridge is between 1-5 microns, with the first level generally being 5 microns. It is mainly used to filter out large particles and colloids in water, such as sediment and rust, and belongs to coarse filtration. Its main function is to protect the next level of filter element and improve water quality, especially for reverse osmosis water purifiers. PP filter element can effectively protect the RO membrane from damage from large particles.
